1. What cookies actually are

Small text files a site leaves in your browser. They remember things — that you've seen a banner, what you typed in a form, whether you're logged in. They can't run programs, can't read your files, and the ones we use can't follow you around the internet.

There's also local storage — same idea, slightly newer. Our cookie banner uses it to remember your choice so it doesn't nag you every visit.

2. The ones we use

Three, and all of them boring in the best way:

• Cookie preference — remembers whether you accepted or chose essentials only. Lasts 12 months.
• Form memory — keeps a half-finished enquiry if you accidentally close the tab. Session-only.
• Anonymous analytics — counts which pages get read so we know what's working. No cross-site tracking.

3. Third-party bits

Two external services touch this site: Google Fonts serves the typefaces (it sees a standard request, not your browsing), and the Google Maps embed on our contacts page — that iframe is Google territory and follows Google's own cookie policy when you interact with it.

If you'd rather avoid even that, the same address works fine typed into any map app: 79 Denison St, Deakin ACT 2600.

4. Your controls

• The banner — "Essentials only" limits us to strictly necessary storage. Change your mind any time by clearing site data.
• Your browser — every modern browser can block or delete cookies entirely; the site still works either way.
• Ask us — email the studio and we'll tell you exactly what your browser has stored from us.

5. Changes & questions
